Gene is generally derided as a loudmouth arrogant money grubbing sexist asshole. Ace is thought of as a drunk. Peter is unreliable and forgot how to play drums.

But what about Paul? Is he a good guy? Nobody has bad things to say about Paul. Except for the conjecture that he is gay, which doesn't really count.

His art stinks but I would love to have some Paul Stanley art in my bathroom.

At least, it's no "Music from the Elder."

Let's not just outright dismiss Music From the Elder here. I expect more from you, of all people. Are you going to tell me that you don't snap your fingers along to the finger-snapping section on "I"?  And what about "Dark Light", where Ace not only gets to rock out, but also gets to sing the line "a malevolent order" only when he sings it, it comes out as "a malevellin' ow-duh?"

Simple explanation, Wes.  I wasn't being sarcastic.  I was saying, "at the very least, 'Unmasked' is no 'Music from the Elder.'"

Also, you left out the killer riff that is "Escape from the Island."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Hey, everyone,

If you haven't ever checked out Paul Stanley's TWO collections of stage banter (or if you have and haven't listened to them all the way through), I have to recommend one track in particular.  It might be the best 50 second payoff of your year.

It's on the second set, "Honey that Ain't No Pistol," and it's Track 60.  If one of you SendSpace guys wants to post it, you can spread the joy even more.

I relistened to this and realized that by saying, "Your local newspaper" he avoided having to learn anything about the town where he was.

What I'd give to hear a compilation of Gary The Squirrel stage banter.

"Alllllllllllllrrrrriiiiiggghhhhhhhhtttt Pittsburgh, are you ready to...BEAT FEET!?!?!"
Nobody ever lends money to a man with a sense of humor.
