what songs should I learn on my uke?

taking suggestions for songs to learn and sing on my new ukelele.  It's got a pickup so I can go electric.  I'm sort of like poindexter in revenge of the nerds (a classic movie by the way).

A local uke school here in Wilmington plays a cover of the Golden Girls song in their radio ads. Why not that?

George Harrison was a big uke fan.  So, I'd suggest anything from the Beatles catalog.

This is totally confusing. Those fingerings don't sound right nor are they anything close to the chord fingerings in my book of uke chords.

You beat me to it. Ram On would be the obvious choice for me. Also, anything by Dent May would be a good choice as well.

never seen it. why bother when YTMND is in the trailer?  is this one of the 82 movies to have IZ K's what a wonderful world/over the rainbow song over the end credits?
