Not to mention Fred F'ing Savage.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I like it a lot even though it hits a little too close to home.

Have drunken mobsters forced you to say, "I have a fast business" over and over?

hee hee.  No, but all the frustration is very very relatable.

I just rewatched the commercial - now I half get this joke.  Pretty good, Barnas.

Pleasantly surprised to find this on NetFlix Instant Watch and have DEVOURED the first 9 episodes. Fantastic writing, cast, and premise. Very happy to hear it was a relative success and getting another season.
He's this soulless bastard from Siberia. I once saw him shove Fred Savage's face in a toilet.

This show has been fantastic. I followed mainly on the advice of my favorite TV critic (well the only one I read on a daily basis) Alan Sepinwall (sepinwall.blogspot.com) and also all the fantastic people in it (Martin Starr!). Also, it was co-created by Rob Thomas who made Veronica Mars.

Also, Lizzie Caplan is currently my biggest celebrity crush.

Same for me, down to the inspiration from Alan Sepinwall.

I've also been loving the guest appearances. Steven Weber was terrific (something I didn't think I'd ever say before he almost made Studio 60 watchable).

I saw Steven Weber as Leo Bloom in The Producers on Broadway a couple of years ago. He was pretty fantastic.

I finished season one tonight.  The series really hits its stride in episode 9.

BLLEEEHHHCALLANAMBULANCE BLEEHHHHHHHCALLANAMBULANCE.

Episode 10 is really good too.

Him in the huge puddle of puke repeatedly asking for an ambulance was pure hilarity. Just the seriousness with which he asks for help raised the disturbing level. Plus, the widow, Alma Garret!

Come on, Jason

Like Eastbound and Down, Delocated, and 30 Rock, I've been re-watching every episode of this show a third and fourth time, trying to figure out exactly what it is about those shows that I love so much more than other shows on TV.  Party Down is the most uneven of the four, which is understandable given that it's a first season and was done on the super-cheap/fast, but the weaker episodes are still charming and enjoyable, and the Porno Awards episode is BRILLIANT!

A ton of hilarious moments in that one, my favorite being Henry's reaction to seeing Ron Donald's injured penis.  The way he fell backwards on to the sink, it was so incredibly broad and dumb, but I saw it with three friends and we re-watched that two-second moment about ten times in a row. Hilarious!  That combined with the Roman/Cramsey exchange makes that episode one of the better half-hours in TV history.

I can't wait for season 2!  Also, I saw Lizzie Caplan first so all of you jerks back off.

Lizzie Caplan. uhhhhhhghhhhhh....

I just finished ep. 3, which I though was Hi-Larious.  I agree with jamesp that Jane Lynch is especially great in this.  If only I'd seen this before the party I was at that she was at a couple weeks ago.  I still probably wouldn't have talked to her.

But Eastbound and Down and Delocated were first-season efforts as well.  I'm confused.
