Colbert in Iraq
« on: June 12, 2009, 11:13:27 PM »
Anybody watch this week's episodes of The Colbert Report? He was in Iraq and performing as part of the USO. I thought they were awesome. He had the balls to perform a conversation (with himself) about gays in the military.

The only cringe worthy part was on last night's episode when he almost got a high ranking officer to make the rest of the army in attendance do the hokey pokey. It was an okay idea but as it went forward it just seemed kind of cruel and condescending.

But overall, it was fantastic. I hope he gets an Emmy (they mean so much!) for it.

Didn't they get rid of that category (variety show host or whatever it's called)?
