That is all very scary, but I'll admit I like his movies.

Even Run Fat Boy Run?  What a dunce.

I have not seen Run, Fatboy, Run ... it was actually on TV today, and I opted to watch DVR'd 30 Rock.

But I like Shaun of the Dead and Hott Fuzz.  Those are the only two that I consider to be "his" movies.  And he does keep the cast of Look Around you fairly busy.

I think Spaced completely eclipses the movies. Obviously TV and movies are different things, but I also think its because Pegg/Stevenson are a better writing team than Pegg/Wright.

Hopefully Scott Pilgrim (Bacall/Wright) will be good though, I love those comet boots.

Wright was the director for the whole series. And it was my understanding (assumption?) that he contributed to the writing, as well. He definitely brought the stylistic touches (whip pans, visual homages, etc.)

It actually wasn't until I found out Edgar Wright was directing the Scott Pilgrim movie that I realized how similar Scott Pilgrim and Spaced are (I don't mean in a rip-offy kind of way). I can't imagine anyone better suited to direct it, though I still don't understand the need for an adaptation like that. I guess it might make O'Malley some $.

Yeah, sorry, I specifically meant writing. He's a great visual stylist, obviously, but I don't think he did any writing for Spaced at all.
