She's really giving Orwell a run for his money. Quitting = fighting. 33 months = 4 years.

My prediction is that she's going to go the entertainment, rather than political, route. And that she will flame out horribly, because in order to have a good talk show, the host needs to have a modicum of curiosity about the world. And nothing interests her at all, other than her own self.

Oh, so she will pull a Huckabee.

I'd take Huckabee over Palin any day.

It's the same batshit views, only he's articulate and charismatic. I may hate Huckabee even more because he hides the crazy better.

I agree.  I'm from Arkansas, and I know how this guy operates.  He can pass as not crazy, but he's a nutty as Palin.

That baby's up on eBay now.  I bid on it, but it's way past what I can afford by now.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

I think the kid is trying to get away from her.

I'm not sure if I'm processing this image correctly. That's Sarah Palin autographing the dress of a child with Down's Syndrome while the mother gawks on in awe? So now your child is nothing more than a prop, congratulations lady of the special needs child.

I don't know where you're getting Down's Syndrome from. I think it's just a normal baby that looks to be crying.

I agree with Woodandiron.  It's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like the child has the tell-tale physical signs of Down's Syndrome.  I say this as someone with experience in the field.  Although, it is an awkward angle.

Down's or not the kid's smart enough to try and get away.

Too bad the media aren't as smart.

Whether you agree with Palin's political world-view or not, she has at least proved that she is not a flash-in-the-pan when it comes to providing comedic moments.  I, for one, hope she is not sunk by a looming scandal (as some have theorized) and that she and Dirty TP stay on the scene for years.
