A Family Underground was has been "A Very Long Wait" on netflix, but this weekend it finally arrives. To my dismay, the disc had a huge crack. I was a bit surprised, as I assumed Juggalos had respect for things that don't belong to them, if nothing else.

Really? Because the ICP dudes crashed their golf cart thru their fans' campsites at that stupid thing.

Actually the way I would do it would be draw the hand and finger with a black eye pencil for the wrinkles and knuckles and leave the hand flesh colored and paint the rest of the face black....

I...whaa? Reading the logistical planning of this image is more comical than the actual idea of it on someone's face.

This thread made me recall something that happened last night. A band I play in is learning some Misfits tunes for a Halloween/covers thing with some other local bands. I've always listened to their stuff, but I've always known the Misfits are one of the dumbest punk bands in the world. That's part of their charm. It's so awful and catchy at the same time, and the lyrics are just terrible.

I'd never cared enough to actually dig up some of their lyrics, and assumed I was not hearing some of Danzig's vocals correctly -- and that's why I found them so funny.

Now I've had to actually learn some Misfits lyrics -- and they're even DUMBER than I thought. Pure garbage.

Our guitar player made an astute observation:

Misfits are the original ICP.

Then I found out they are in Big Money Hustlas!

Yeah, Glen Danzig and ICP would be good.  Someone should download the boots and get to work.  They aren't on the Shut Up and Play thing put out by WFMU.

I've got a Misfits Passaic, NJ Xmas 81 bootleg that I could rip. I think I've seen it before on the web. I haven't listened to it in a while but I know there's at least one or two ridiculous Danzig comments. I'm going to send a message a buddy of mine who used to do a lot of tape trading. I know he's got plenty of Misfits live stuff.

ICP... I don't even know where to begin with that, but I want it to happen so bad.
