Being born with them is great, but I don't think growing them later in life is a good idea.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I'm finding it's complicated. You can get by with English only, and plenty of people do, but it would make me feel like a cultural imperialist. It's probably best to try to speak French. Francophones are about 66% of the populace in Montreal, Anglophones are at around 15%, and people whose first language is neither (allophones) are about 20%. But of course, the Francophones are usually more fluently bilingual than the anglos. It's a sensitive issue.

As a tourist, one would have no problem if they spoke English only.

One of the better compliments I've had in recent years was when a French Canadian told me I spoke French like a Canadian (not a French Canadian; an Anglo used to speaking French in Quebec).  Considering I haven't had occasion to speak French regularly for more than thirty years (in my yout' I was mistaken for Parisian by Parisians, brag brag), that was quite flattering.

God, I must be feeling insecure/invisible today to be bragging so blatantly.  I leave this post in penance, so that all may scoff at me who so choose.

Jeremy: Concordia.
Jbissell: I believe Jeremy is correct.

Emma, you should check out CJLO while you are there! The people at that station are amazing.
Eagerly awaiting the release of "Pleasure Island: A Rock Fontasy"

I'd have a serious crush on Sugar Slam, if only she wasn't so... 'urban.'

"And for all you hungry *sses out there: Yes we have food, and plenty of it, all over that b*tch."

Vanilla Ice, Coolio, Rowdy Roddy Piper, showers, a convenience store, Violent J's Beach Boys BBQ Blowout Bash The 3rd My Nerd, Karaoke Competition, and of course...

SEMINARS!

Looks like Daddy's going to have to raid his kids' college funds!

Wait, why would Canada need Juggalos?  Don't you have socialism?
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.
