Thank you Joe at WFMU!!
« on: August 27, 2009, 04:39:56 PM »

i just wanted to say publicly THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to Joe McGasko a WFMU!!  it may have taken 3 separate envelopes, but i finally got all my swag today, and i could not be more happy!!  its like Christmas, but you actually get what you want, and not some weird stuff that your sisters thought you might like but then you never take it out of the package and eventually throw it away....

THANKS JOE, A MILLION BUCKS!!
you're gonna love hell, its a lot like Ohio.

Joe is the best. He's a top notch DJ and an amazing WFMU full time staffer. He makes things HAPPEN.

HAIL JOE!

Tom.

Are the Tom and Terri T cds going to come separately or are there a bunch of packages missing stuff?  I received my premium yesterday and only got the t-shirt and had to leave a message with Joe as well.

Mine came yesterday and everything was together in the same package.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Joe helped me out with snafus for both my regular marathon and mini-marathon pledges, quickly in both cases. So I agree, he is awesome.

Yeah, Joe's a real nice dude. He helped me out with a slight error in my information after the marathon. We got everything sorted out smoothly. I just hope I didn't send my check in too late to not get my swag. I understand the fact that WFMU has my money is more important, but I like swag.

I received my mini-marathon premium yesterday, and was concerned that I might be too late to get the March Marathon premium, but exchanged emails with Joe M today confirmed that I will still receive "Tom", the Dogmo bag, another CD, some shirts, and some other stuff in the next 2-4 weeks, so he has been awesome for me twice this week.

I wonder if he even knows we are singing his praises?

I've dealt with Joe several times in the past and he's always been courteous and helpful.

Thanks, Joe!

I only got my shirt a few weeks ago and I have been waiting on the rest. Guess I should probably drop him a line.
