I feel pretty lame with what I got, but I do want to limit my LP collection to evergreens that I can listen to over and over -- I have a hard drive that I can fill with musical oddities.
Anyhow:
-The 4 LP set of Nuggets (this marks the first time I've bought multiple editions of the same album -- I already have the 1976 2 LP edition with the Kelley Mouse Studios cover that looks like an issue of Zap Comix, but basically has what's on the first CD, and am keeping it).
-John Coltrane, My Favorite Things
-Miles Davis, Birth of the Cool
-Johnny Cash, Live At San Quentin
-The Clash, Sandinista
-Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Rust Never Sleeps and Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere (note that I got used copies of BOTH of these records and did not get suckered into the overpriced 180 gram reissues at the Warner Records table)
-The Velvet Underground, ...And So On
Yawn, I know. If I was really cool, I'd collect 45s.
