I have to say... ever since I saw it six years ago I've been obsessed with the 4 hour made for tv movie about Jonestown starring Powers Boothe. To the point where I infected my computer with a virus trying to download the thing online from a sketchy site. I eventually got the video but my computer bit the dust... at the time I wasn't able to find it on DVD.

That movie led to late night studying people's temple info online and listening to those creepy-ass tapes Jim Jones made during the mass suicide.

Why do I like tragedy so much??? I also love kittens! And babies!

Yup. First two show Jones' upbringing and the start and rise of the church here in the states, the second two encompass Guyana. It's really good....
