You mentioned the Zombies but if you haven't heard Blunstone's solo albums Enismore and One Year you should listen to those.

One Year is really tops. I just got it this fall - I had no idea that guy had anything going on after the Zombies. Great stuff.
I'm warning you with peace and love.

The first Vanilla Fudge album (self titled) is a little slow but pretty good.

There's a compilation of Swedish garage stuff called SEARCHIN' FOR SHAKES: SWEDISH BEAT 1965-1968 that's really great. If you want more Swedish stuff after that, check out Tages. One of the great unheralded bands of the 60s!
It ain't ego, it's my love for you.

And Los Bravos had far more to offer the world than their hit "Black is black".  Exhibit A: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IU8wOaCmkmE

I could never get into Scott Walker. Almost everybody I know who likes him isn't American (and mostly have a native language other than English) and when you look at greatest ever lists, most of the time he shows up on European lists. Just an observation I've made.

Seconding The Monks and suggesting Love. "Forever Changes" is the best known. You can find some Love tracks among the bounty of Nuggets, though.
