I miss the Kansas guy

How amazing would it be for him to just drop back in all of a sudden?

You mean the guy who liked to sing "Carry on My Wayward Son"? I heard that on old archive ... really old, I think ... 2001 maybe?

His name is Kid Kansas. Show him some respect.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I've just gotten to the point in the archives where he makes his debut (late 2002), and I have to say I do not miss him. It gets really old really fast. But it did inspire some genius countermeasures by Tom, like "dueting" with Aimee Mann and The Party Zone.

I really, really like the old time callers way more trippy. Now callers (non Wurster) are more straight ahead.

After all, he would show you respect!
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Yeah, generally the callers are much more obsequious now that Tom's such a big shot. (I sure would be - one of the reasons I don't call!) There are fewer wild cards these days.

I loved that dude Dick, from last week ... and that weird woman calling from the Hudson Valley whenever that was, a few weeks ago?

There are still people that spin the dial and land on this show and go, "I don't like this, I'm going to call in and tell this guy what's what", and there are still those tool/knobs out there who decide they're going to try and take Tom down.

Was Hudson Valley lady the one that said "No, and I don't appreciate your sarcasm." ?  Because she was hilarious, but not by choice.

Yep, clearly a woman who had never ever listened to Tom before in her life.

Quite clear.  But I hope she continues to not listen, but still call.
