God bless him. That said, what a terrible list.

I sort of love that he put Friday on the list.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I have to say that if you haven't seen Memories of Murder, you should.  He nailed it with that one.

I thought it was universally regarded that he is kinda a blundering oaf who happens to make good movies once in a blue moon. I'm not sure why somebody asked him to do this but it kinda proved everything I thought about the guy.

That said Inglorious Bastards is probably the coolest movie ever.
There is no good Art in here.

There are still plenty of folks who slobber over every scrap of garbage that falls out of his dumb mouth. Try reading the Filmspotting forum (or listening to the hosts).

Has anyone seen the episode of Iconoclasts that he was on with Fiona Apple? An pairing of two of the most creepily awkward humans ever! That last sentence was clearly an exaggeration but still... weird.

Tarantino wants to make a slavery themed spaghetti western:

Quote
"I'd like to do a Western. But rather than set it in Texas, have it in slavery times. With that subject that everybody is afraid to deal with. Let's shine that light on ourselves. You could do a ponderous history lesson of slaves escaping on the Underground Railroad. Or, you could make a movie that would be exciting. Do it as an adventure. A spaghetti Western that takes place during that time. And I would call it 'A Southern.'"

He could probably (maybe) make it entertaining, but I still want to punch him in the face while reading that.

As a Southerner, nothing would please me more than to see Quentin Tarantino's totally fraudulent, wrong-headed version of What The South Is Like. I would be first in line.
It ain't ego, it's my love for you.
