are dreadful. And I don't think appropriate. I'm not one to typically try to tip the scales for the sake of tipping them, but there are only three reviews on the page and two of them have one star and are found helpful by 0 people. One of which seems to actually be written about the description of the book.

Just sayin, if anyone has a knack for writing reviews (I generally don't) and liked the book, it might be a good deed to throw your 2 cents in.

The comments on the AV Club review are snarky and sometimes hateful (yeah, I know, shocking). Some of them seem to be by people who have personal grudges, and others are like "She's beautiful so she shouldn't be complaining about getting dates," which really doesn't make sense to me.

No more inappropriate than the guy giving it one star because he prefers Kermit to Miss Piggy. Someone please go back in time and murder the person who created the comment function on the internet. I think we can all agree that we'd sacrifice to make it happen.

I look forward to reading it this week and for adding one positive review to counterbalance the awful comments on Amazon!

Hey guys! Sorry I've been an errant FOT.

I just wanted to say THANKS to all who've put in their friendly dollar seventy-five (that's how much it is, right?) on the Amazon page. Thank YOU. I should've specified that free verse is OK. It's like jazz because it's about the words that AREN'T rhyming.
