Looking for Never Not Funny's Andrew Koenig
« on: February 20, 2010, 07:09:43 PM »
I don't know how many FOT's listen to Jimmy Pardo's podcast Never Not Funny, but apparently Jimmy's brother-in-law and cameraman/contributor to the show Andrew Koenig missed his flight from Vancouver and has not been heard from for a few days and people are starting to get worried. Here is a blog that Dave Holmes posted about it.

I thought I'd start a topic just because I know there's some Canadian FOT's and I figured it couldn't hurt to spread the word.

I hope everything works out and he is found.

It's been over a week now, and it looks like things are getting pretty desperate. He was suffering from depression and it sounds more and more dire.

Hopefully he turns up safe.

I didn't connect him with "Boner" from Growing Pains.  Sad - hopefully this will turn out like the Jason Mewes situation.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I've only listened to NNF a little bit, but this really sucks. I hope he's found/returns alive and well.

Now to detract from the sobriety of this thread, but surely this is a sentiment that has never been expressed before.

Is the Jason Mewes Situation a new feature on MTV's Jersey Shore?

Yeah, this is pretty horrible news. I had really started to hope that he had just decided to stay off the grid for a while. I wasn't really fully prepared for this. Lame as it may sound, it does kind of feel like a friend has died even though I never even met the guy.

My thoughts are with his friends and family that they don't blame themselves because of his decision. Suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems but in the grip of real depression it's hard to see that. R.I.P.

I wonder what the news was yesterday about him being alive.

Sad.  Walter Koenig looks and sounds grave but composed.
