Guest Suggestion: Achewood's Chris Onstad
« on: March 05, 2010, 01:29:16 PM »
As a big Achewood fan, I think Chris Onstad would be a fun TBS guest.  Has he ever been discussed being on the show?  I know he's based out of Portland, but I think he'd fit in well in-studio for an hour or two.

This would be great, seeing as how Achewood is the only funny webcomic that has ever existed.

all right, that may have been a bit hyperbolic, but in my experience, the vast majority of webcomics are really terrible and self-indulgent, and Achewood blows them all out of the water.

But what about the one with the stick figures that talk about science and how great it is to be a nerd on the internet?

I am a huge Achewood fan, but thank you for pointing me to this!  I was laughing my ass off and being generally unproductive for a solid half-hour because of your link.

That is EXACTLY what happened to me when someone else showed it to me.

The Perry Bible Fellowship is the best.

But when you've finished laughing at PBF, I also urge you to check out "Hark, a Vagrant!" which I linked to above (www.harkavagrant.com). I find it very funny (even though it's by a CHICK, ew gross!).

Agreed-- I somehow forgot about PBF when I posted my earlier comment. And, though it shames me to admit it, I've gone to several of the Penny Arcade Expos, not because I have any great love for the comic, but because it's in my home turf and because I like videogames.

i know what you mean! i hate penny arcade, but the music scene i'm in always has shows at PAX.

the thing about achewood is i've been reading it for like 6 years 8 years, and its at the point where i can't even fall behind anymore. if i forgot to read it for a month, i'll have like 5 comics to catch up on.

also i'd like to introduce everyone to pictures for sad children

edit: forgot how old i was. ugh.
