I didn't see the Ted Leo but I did get the Fouled Up. Great used stuff too, Hungry Ear.

No rarities, but I did show my support for my local record store and bought a handful of oddities on vinyl.

No Superchunk or Ted Leo for the UK, so my Best Show related purchases (not just purchased due to affiliation) were limited to the F'ed Up 7" and The Mountain Goats DVD, which is awesome. First time I've been up before 7 on a Saturday since I was about 10, and it felt great, so all in all, Record Store Day is A Good Thing.

I was excited because one of the covers of the Fucked Up single was a picture of my local record store, but I couldn't get one because they only got like 5 copies.  I was surprised they couldn't get a few extra copies or something. Bummer.

Ended up picking up Ted Leo (that "North Sea" song is a jam), the new Devo 12", and a special pressing of a single from Buffalo's own late great power pop heroes Girlpope.  Also found a nice copy of Stoneage Romeos by the Hoodoo Gurus in the used bin for $3.

Verdict: Good guys win again.
I'm warning you with peace and love.

I grabbed the Ted Leo single (had no idea this was among the exclusives, so I got a nice surprise when I saw it), Rolling Stones 7", and the Black Keys 12". Would've liked to grab those Fucked Up singles but there were several and I had a finite amount of money.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I picked up the Ted Leo Single, The Beach House single, the Neil Young single and Neko Case - Middle Cyclone on clear vinyl.  I appreciated the three guys wearing Devo hats at the front of the line, and the record store handing out free coffee.  Overall a good way to spend a Saturday morning.

No Ted Leo/Rx 7" in my neck of the woods, and my friend who went to a several shops couldn't find it either, but I did get The Tyranny of Distance, which is my favorite album ever, on vinyl. I also got General Public ... All The Rage and the Less Than Zero soundtrack, if only to experience the Glen (sic) Danzig & the Power and Fury Orchestra. Both were $4. I also got some CDs which were %20 off and pretty cheap to begin wit- Bratmobile Ladies, Women and Girls, One Last Wish 1986, The Smiths Peel Sessions and Strangeways, Here We Come, David Bowie s/t 60s comp, Belly King, and The Pogues Red Roses For Me.

When today instead, picked up MX-80's Crowd Control (I love living in the Bay Area) as well as the Reactors and Spider reissues. I am not ashamed that I spent $10 for "I want SEx" because that is a ripper

Managed to find the TL/RX, Fucked Up, Telekinesis, and Let's Wrestle/Love Language split 7".

Was hoping to also score the splits with Menomena and the Thermals/Cribs, and the autographed Chunk 7", but no such luck.
Eagerly awaiting the release of "Pleasure Island: A Rock Fontasy"

I got the Ted Leo and the Mountain Goats.  Missed out on the Hold Steady.  And I apparently missed a chance to say hi to Tom at Vintage Vinyl by leaving so early.
