Inspired by ScottP who posted the Breaking Away trailer.  That took me back.  Outside of Star Wars, Superman, Jaws, and movies of that ilk, Breaking Away is one of the earliest I remember seeing.

Freaky Friday - the original. I was four.  I saw it at Sunrise Mall in suburban Sacramento.

Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey is actually the only movie I've ever seen.

An American Tail. Follow by La Bamba the following Summer. I was 4, or had just turned 5 when I saw La Bamba.

First was The Sword and the Stone. I remember very little about it.

Second was Dirty Harry. I was 13, and traumatized. I still get a little squidgy about big guys wearing leather gloves.

Masters of the Universe.

I loved the He-Man cartoon, so my folks took me to see the live-action Dolph Lundgren vehicle, and as they tell it, I started crying when Skeletor came on, so my dad had to escort me outside.

Somehow I remember seeing Star Wars sometime in 1981. They must have rereleased it in anticipation of the sequel. I talked to my Dad a lot throughout, describing for him what was going on. I would made the future me absolutely furious.

I remember being excited about seeing ET, but not actually seeing it.  My earliest movie memory is of the Cloud City in the Empire Strikes Back.
