Frederics, what did you think of Give Me Immortality or Give Me Death?

I felt it was quite good solid 4 stars.  Right up there with I Think We're All Bozos On This Bus  (Hey, Folksnake+)

I used the Bozo line in one of my early posts.

I even got "Bride of Firesign"  ties up a lot of loose ends from the various records.  First track is too toilety for me so I skipped it when I downloaded it from emusic.

This new time is great news for me.  I am usually reading to my kids for their bedtime between 8 and 9.  I occasionally try to listen to the show at the same time, but my kids call me on it.

This is good news for this west coaster.  Instead of struggling to get bandwidth on a crowded bus at 5pm through the hills, I now will usually get home by 6, start up the computer, launch the wfmu stream in High Quality, and tadah, Best Show starts.

I don't know this one.  There's a ton I've never heard.  I'm most familiar with the commercial releases up to Dear Friends, great swaths of which I used to be able to recite from memory, and downloaded a bunch of newer stuff a few years ago, some of which I haven't even listened to yet.  Beyond that, I'm a disgrace.

I'm just not all that good at being fan.  Too lazy.

Now, how about those Duck's Breath Mystery Theater tapes you promised, Sarah?

I made no such promise!  It was another Charlie.  I don't know which one.

Can anyone help out?  I don't like when Sarah yells at me.

Not yelling!  Just feeling guilty for not doing something I didn't say I would do!

I just want to say I'm shocked, SHOCKED! that there are Firesign nerds on this board.

(thx for the suggestions though - I will try and catch up with this whole thing!)

You must be gravely disappointed, madam.  And feel slightly soiled.

This is good news for me, since I get home from work right at 9 and I stay up late, anyway. Woot!

Considering methods of continuing to listen live. I too wake up at 5:30. I think I've landed on the option to take a long nap Tuesday afternoon.

9-12 will be a tad tougher than me, although that later start also means (hopefully) fewer baby interruptions.

As big of a comedy nerd as I am, shamefully I have never heard any Firesign Theatre. I guess this is my big chance to start.

Dave was not joking about 12 listens.   You can do them in a row.
