The Boss wrote this song for the Ramones. His manager talked him out it of giving it to them.

I think it basically would have sounded like 'Needles and Pins' or something off 'End of the Century'.  But yeah, I would have loved to have heard their version.

I couldn't get through that Minnie Driver version.  The Jesse Malin version was okay, though.
