Belgium tips
« on: October 26, 2010, 11:26:31 PM »
Well, my last trip to the Eurozone was fun.  Here's another.  I'll have a few days to kill in Brussels in a couple weeks.  So far the main advice I've got is "go to Antwerp."  Is there anything rad to see or do in Brussels itself?  Any FOTs in the area?

Brussels itself is pretty boring. Unless you love bureaucracy and an endless amount of government buildings. Their beer is excellent, of course.

There's your answer:  get plastered.

Or you could travel to Bruges and reenact that movie.

I want to go to Brussels sometime just to see some art nouveau. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Horta

I really loved Bruges. I think it was about an hour away by train.
