Seconded.  No more rings for Rapelsburger, please (Steelers always seem to slip in when NE or Indy blow it), and the Jets are stomach-churning.

There appears to be a lot of mancrushing on Aaron Rodgers these days, not the least of which coming from tv analysts.

Of those 4 I'm behind the Bears. Ordinarily, I'm a Chargers fan.

NFL is getting bigger over here in the UK (and Europe) all the time. the Wembley game really helped with that. A lockout would be disastrous for the  NFL's global expansion (not that anyone in the US probably cares about that!!) Europeans are not familiar with athletes/sports teams either going on strike or being locked out. It just doesn't happen here. I hope it can be avoided.

Whilst it's easy to see Rex Ryan as repulsive, he's smart - his loud-mouthing and bragging takes a lot of the focus away from his players, allowing them to focus on the job at hand. (Well not all of them, clearly as, plenty of them talk trash too) This is also a proven management technique in soccer (Again, I expect no one cares about that.)

The best part about the NFL is the part in Peter King's MMQB where he talks about his "coffeenerdness." I loved the one a few weeks back where all it read was. "Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte. So misunderstood. So good."

I miss Dr. Z's writing.  He too would go off on weird tangents -- wine stuff for him.

I hate to admit it but I am satisfied now that Belichick is out.

Both seconded.  Dr. Z thought he was smarter than everybody else, and perhaps he was.  Terrible prognosticator, but I think that was down to him wanting so badly for the right things to matter in who won and who lost.

I used to root for Boston area sports teams - then they started to have success and became more insufferable than Yankee fans.  Feh.

I'm a Steelers fan first, but I'm also a Wisconsin native who hates Roethlisberger and Harrison, so I'm cheering for the Packers to win it this year.  Can't say I'd complain about the Jets winning it, though, since they're the ones who eliminated the Patriots.

No matter who wins it this year, the Patriots are out, and that's good enough for me.  I can't thank the Jets enough for giving me another year without hearing Boston/New England media bragging about the Patriots.

Totally!  I hate the Patriots more than any team this side of the Vikings.

okay, now you have me fully behind the Packers. no love for Pittsburgh or Rapelisburger here. And also, on our UK coverage, the co-host is the most un-biased, partisan Steelers fan you can imagine so it makes any coverage of the Steelers tough to watch.

As much as I dislike some of their fans, I have to root for the Steelers. I am from Western PA, after all. To do otherwise would be heresy.

I haven't been able to sleep or eat or think or anything for a couple days.  I just want the game to be over with.  Pretty sure I'm going to have a breakdown watching it, and wanting the Packers to win for my dad more than anything.
