Perhaps that service charge will be for maintenance of hand-dryers in the bathroom? That is a very important subject to all of us. 

I think I just heard The Sleepy Voice of The Internet say "A man buys tickets to two nights of PFT in Brooklyn" as I clicked BUY.

It doesn't go to the performers or the venue.  It's for ticketweb to recoup the costs of their collectable limited edition signed and numbered handmade silk-screened tickets.  Although, the hand dryers better be in order so I don't smudge my ticket stub before I have a chance to frame it.  The tickets will be lovely, and I'm almost as excited about the actual shows.

Please tell me this is the same weekend as the WFMU Record Fair 2011. If so, I'm definitely buying tickets and flying out for this.

The fair is the week after.  Just make it a 9 day trip.

So, I finally got the time to schedule this trip, only to find both shows have sold out. Oh well. Hope to visit New York another time.
