Say what you will about Chum, the portly dimwit knows a fair amount about video games and sneakers.
I've pretty much grown tired of Rick and his wheeze-laugh, Chum, and Corey, but I've come around to liking the Old Man, especially his love of vintage toys. In a recent episode, he referred to a toy as being "cute as hell." I mainly watch for the expert assessments/appraisals as I will watch any show involving the discussion of antiques/collectibles and their value (e.g., American Pickers, Antiques Roadshow, and to a lesser extent, Storage Wars, which often features too much thrift store junk for my taste).
Rick seems to be slipping a bit of late, too. His failure to acquire that Houdini straightjacket -- the authentification of which is probably the show's most riveting sequence -- was absolutely disgraceful.
I also like American Restoration, although I wish they showed more of the actual restoration process. The results are often quite stunning.
