Work of Art: The Next Great Artist: season 2
« on: October 14, 2011, 04:20:29 AM »
It's on! Thoughts on the first episode? I need to digest it a bit, maybe read a recap or something -- as always, plenty to loathe, some to love. Some of the stuff some of these people are spewing out (both out of their mouths and their brushes) is just hideous and pretentious and sometimes both.

"Sucklord" looks like he was made in a reality show villain lab.

Obviously I'll keep watching.

I was an avid fan of the last season, but totally missed this first episode.

1.  I called Ugo as the loser as soon as he started working.  His piece was just so very, very boring.

2. Bayeté's piece was awful, but I knew they wouldn't dare to send him home.

3. Lola was so obviously getting the redemption edit, there was no suspense at all.

4. I kind of like the Sucklord, but, lord, his Gandalf surely did suck.  (Easy and obvious--sorry.)
