From the shooting location of Spielberg's upcoming Lincoln biopic, here's Daniel Day-Lewis Linc-laxing at a nearby restaurant. The film will obviously cover the little-known period when Lincoln was opening for Pete Seeger.

Daniel Day-Lewis as Doctor Venture.
Vandalism! Sick vandalism! When I get my hands on the little punks I'm gonna hang them by their Buster Browns!

I'm mostly curious to see the exact moment of the film where Lincoln earns his beard.

That certainly puts the photo in an intriguing new context.

I'm more excited about Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy than any other movie I can think of.

Lincoln was born in Kentucky.

So I was able to get passes to last night's screening of the prologue to The Dark Knight Rises in an IMAX theater. The prologue is basically just the first 6 or 7 minutes of the movie (think the bank heist in TDK). It's an introduction of Bane and has a really fun stunt. Also, the reports were true, Bane's lines are about 75% indecipherable.

IMAX is a terrible medium for movies.

HBO Films: Game Change Tease

Not sure about that John McCain voice, but I'm looking forward to Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin (and to the ensuing hissy fit by the real Sarah Palin over Moore's probably negative portrayal).

A quality trailer will feature at least three clips from the movie where a main character says the movie's title out loud.

That's why Titanic was so successful:

PORTER (to ROSE and CAL): "... sir, ma'am, welcome aboard the Titanic."

JACK: "I'm the King of the World! Here on the bow of the Titanic."

JACK: "Where to, Miss"
ROSE: "To the stars."
ROSE: "... or the main deck of the Titanic, whatever comes first."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Eh, if they didn't repeat the title ad nauseam, I could easily misremember the movie as being called Game Day or Oil Change.
