Oh and still nothing from my Sonta. Chicago has, literally, the worst mail delivery in the country, so I'm hoping it's still on its slow way!

Hooray! No need for anonymity--I'm that Sonta! I'm glad you like the package and I hope the M&Ms are delicious! They're my second-favorite M&M varietal after Peanut. :D

The Pretzel M&Ms are lovely! Thanks again  :D

I've been out of town for a week, but when I got back today I was delighted to find a Secret Sonta package waiting for me. So thanks to my Mystery Sonta for a framed cross-stitching of New Jersey's state flower, the violet, and for a framed cover of a sheet music for the 1916 song "I've Lost You So Why Should I Care" featuring classic 'vamp' silent film star Theda Bara. Fun and unexpected stuff - love it!

Glad you got it and liked it.  The store I bought it from was full of amazing things and it, sadly, burned down about a week after I bought those things.

I have been enjoying my Santee package too much to take time off to post about it.  Thanks to Mike and Savannah from Portland.  (My wife and I have been seriously considering moving to Portland after not-as-seriously considering it while watching Portlandia, so we're taking your residence there as a sign from the heavens.)  The package of amazement contained illustrated books on the history of heaven and hell, both of which look fascinating, two flax bags to used as a bed warmer or cold pack, a mix-CD of rap for the new listener (which I am), a certificate suitable for framing declaring me to have earned my beard, and an absolutely amazing crocheted MOUSE IN A CAPE!  I have been one lucky so-and-so with my secret santas.

There are very few things finer than coming home from work to find a package addressed to you from "The Alabammy Comet".  My awesome haul included Alan Partridge series 1 on DVD, homemade soap from his wife (including Figgy Stardust), a Paul Stanley bottle cap pin, a bizarre picture of a turtle with some kind of automatic weapon on it's back and the chance for a guest appearance on his podcast.  Thanks so much, Jason, I loved my package.

Thanks to John in the UK for his awesome gift. I've got the weekend ahead of me to check out the Richard Herring DVD he sent along as well as the Ross Noble radio shows he sent over, which are being loaded onto my iPod as we speak! There was also a large haul of UK candy in there, most of which I've lovingly taken care of and that all tasted much better than he warned!

Thanks John!

Oh, and I forgot what might be the best part of mine.  I hid it so I could only find it when I needed it.  It was . . .

Well, PJ, I am (we are) so very glad you enjoyed it.  I was waiting to have a package to rave about before taking off my Santa mask, but so far the porch has been package-less.  Hope the other FOT don't mind my unilaterally deciding that you'd earned your beard -- a tour of duty in the SCUMM force is not something I take lightly!
