Fantasy Basketball
« on: December 25, 2011, 01:54:56 AM »
Hi there I know there are some basketball fans out there and would love for them to chime in on my fantasy team. I suck at this stuff and I think I have a pretty mediocre team. Do I have any chance at winning?

Tom I know you're into fantasy basketball and would love to have you weigh in

I'm doing fantasy basketball for the first time this year, so I'm in the same boat as you. I think your team looks pretty good, Dwight Howard should get a ton of rebounds and blocks to help give you some balance.

Thanks Mark! How is your team looking like.

Do you think it's risky to take a risk on Baron Davis?

I think B Davis will have a good season once hes back, IDK how he looks fantasy wise though. If you don't have to give up much to get him I'd go for it.

Perhaps you should jump on the Miami Heat rookie, Norris Cole?

The Heat don't really have anybody else on their roster who can "score the basketball" so....

Keep in mind, I've never played Fantasy Basketball but a did just win a Fantasy Football league that includes an Oblivian, a former member of The Final Solutions and a former "editor" of The Cimmaron Weekend.

I was thinking the same thing. He kinda took over the game and killed the Celtics.

I was being a little sarcastic as I doubt Cole puts together another game like that again this season.  Miami has 3 guys that would average 20+ points a game on any team in the league.  They will rarely have a teammate that scores 20 and they have Battier now as well.  He's a defensive stopper and will share minutes with Cole.  Than again, if you have a deep league, it wouldn't hurt to pick him up now and sit him until he shows that he can play that well consistantly.
