Good to see you again, Mr. Iggle.

You are wrong, but I respect you.

Peace out.

It's soul crushingly bad.

I had to research it a bit after the fact because I knew nothing about it going in. Apparently it was really popular and made lots of money.

Haha. Bridesmaid is my favorite comedy from last year. I didn't think any parts were 'unfunny.'

Could you elaborate on this review, TE.

Was it the performances (or a specific performance), the script (the jokes, premises, characters, dialog, or plot progression), or something technical (like the editing, shot composition, or score) that you found unfunny?

Oh yeah I could go on and on. It's really fucking bad, it's like..... how I imagine an artificial intelligence who's  studied humans for a while would write comedy (soul less). *beep*...*boop*...women having explosive diarrhea in wedding dresses, you see the wedding dress is a very formal dress garment they idea of having uncontrollable bodily process while wearing such creates an extreme awkward situation which the viewer can  relate to while lamenting....*beep*

Shit jokes aside, I guess, pandering to the lowest common denominator with that kind of stuff is just accepted now as a go-to comedy device. Whatever. But the fucking beats are all wrong with the acting and filming it which destroys any humor or empathy you could have had with the characters. There are no music cues in major sections of the film.....fine if you're going for that effect turns it into like an absurdest dark comedy thing. But then out of nowhere there are music cues randomly half way thru the film.

Plane set, cheap.

The one lady thinks her seat mate is an air marshal, ok, the camera stays on her as the actress is clearly improving (which is fine) but the premise is established!! cut awaaaaay. No it just stays who am I supposed to relate to here? Finally after more more idiotic hi-jinx the pay off the guy really is a air marshal. wow, Fucking weak.
Man I don't even want to type any more its making me mad.

Fuck who ever made this movie.

You might want to see who it is first.

Wait, so you didn't know who made it or that it was (very) widely acclaimed, but you came on here to whine about how bad it is?

I thought it was a little overrated, and yes, the diarrhea scene was unnecessary at best, but is it really one of the worst movies you've  ever seen? Enough to go online and complain about? Congratulations on never having seen 80% of mainstream comedies.

You have every right to dislike the film. More power to you.

However, I would like to point out that there's a "General Movie Thread", Trembling Eagle.  I'm not sure if your lacing into Bridesmaids necessitates its own thread.

The random multiple establishing shots of Milwaukee

It's not really random if the point is to establish the backdrop as Milwaukee.

I got it the first time 10 times they did it

maybe because there was all of a sudden a random Irish cop they decided to do it another 20
