I haven't heard much of Andrew Daly's standup, but I put that album on there going by this alone:
Andrew Daly is a genius
I listened to it three times in a row.
Andy Daly's characters on Comedy Bang Bang ('Hot Dog' and others) are the reason I keep listening to the show (his and James Adomian's). Haven't heard his album, but now I have to get it.
I grew up with the George Carlin albums and saw him live a couple of times. He's a favorite although I know some people are not fond of him. More recent comedy albums I've bought:
Thin Pig by Todd Glass
'My name is Hannibal' by Hannibal Burress
'Falling off the bone' and 'From Heaven' by Todd Barry
'A Great Stillness' by Eddie Pepitone
'Freak Wharf' by PFT
'Rock, Rot and Rule' by S&W
all of them are solid. I need to check out many of the albums listed in this thread.
For most of my comedy needs of late it's been a combination of podcast appearances, Netflix specials, and the occasional live show at The Comedy Attic.
