The whole Oberlin fiasco? Can I ask what happened?

I'm like 5 podcasts back (pudge just got whipped) I was out of town. I saw on the site both FMU and Oberlin had dropped out of the thing on Soundtap. I did a search here and on google and found nothing as to why. If I listen to these next five episodes (and I will too.) will I find out what happened?
Can I ask or is it a bad topic?

Traffic from WFMU and Oberlin voters overwhelmed the Soundtap website and they both withdrew from the contest. I think Tom mentions this in passing on the show.
