The moment I heard the Gorch's voice, I was so excited! All these years, I have not lost hope of the Gorch making his way to Jersey City on his souped-up Rascal. I can’t wait for the chain fight!

I was looking through the archives for the first Gorch appearance. The November 26, 2002 show, tagged  "The Long Awaited Return Of The Gorch", is the earliest appearance available. I gather there was a call before this date, unless it's some extra clever scheme meant to further befuddle the listener somehow. The first call would be a super nice audio addition to scharplingandwurster.com!

I still find myself snickering at random over that most recent in studio appearance, holy moly!
