I don't know how many FOT are true-blue '70s rock fans, but one of the best "unknown" '70s rock bands are playing a rare show in Teaneck, NJ at the end of the month. I really wish I could go but since I can't I'm hoping YOU can. Because you will never forget it!
Starz made 4 perfect hard rock/pop records on Capitol in the '70s and toured with all the biggest bands of the era - KISS, Aerosmith, etc, but never managed to score a hit (even though their songs are incredible).
I saw them in 2005 in a weird bar in SF, half-full, only knowing one song ("So Young, So Bad"), but they just tore that place up. They still sing and play at the top of their game, it's pretty incredible.
Anyway, they only play like one show a year now. If you live in New Jersey you should check out this show, they are playing Mexicali Live in Teaneck on Sept 28.
