I actually did forget that one. I enjoy your music group!  I purchased this album in the vinyl format from Trouble in Mind! In a bundle with The Resonars Greatest Songs Of ...

I will revise my list. I believe that Connections' Private Airplane technically came out in December 2012 so it has been disqualified.

Connections Body Language was also released on Anyway.

There's no way I could put together a list of 30 albums, but these are 2013 albums I enjoyed:

Monster Magnet - Last Patrol
Kurt Vile - Wakin' On a Pretty Daze
Clutch - Earth Rocker
The Liminanas - Costa Blanca
Blut Aus Nord - What Once Was...Liber III
Wooden Shjips - Back To Land
Reigning Monarchs - Black Sweater Massacre
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - Push The Sky Away
Neko Case - The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You
My Bloody Valentine - mbv
Mark Lanegan - Imitations
Five Horse Johnson - The Taking of Blackheart
Chelsea Wolfe - Pain Is Beauty
Fuzz - s/t
Russian Circles - Memorial

And three comedy entries:

Dana Gould - I Know It's Wrong
Dave Anthony - Shame Chamber
Joe DeRosa - You Will Die

I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Thanks, Omar, I love these lists.  And mostlymeat, I didn't know you were in The Wrong Words!  You guys are great.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

Omar--thanks too. I always use your annual list to check stuff out. That Mikal Cronin has been my favorite of the year.  One quibble about an omission, not be a total homer but what about Yo La Tengo's Ohm?

I assume you are referring to YLT's Fade, which contains the song "Ohm"? I thought the album was okay and haven't listened to it since the week of its release in mid-January.  Probably worth revisiting.

Any reason y'all are excluding anything that will be released in December from your lists?

Is anything coming in December that might be listworthy?  The only one I know of is the new Robert Pollard solo album, Blazing Gentlemen, which comes out on 12/10.

I can't say for sure but I've been burned by not waiting til after Jan 1st before, notably last year.

I've also not received and/or had chance to listen to records purchased in November yet.

I should say your list is solid Omar. The Mike Krol LP is tops for sure. I feel like a tremendous hipster for being proud I got it back in June.
