Good Make Out Music

I got a lot of experience under my belt to the sound of Portishead's first album.  I may or may not have lost my virginity to it.  I consider this album to be the best makeout music of the 1990's.

I remember making out to Shudder To Think's Pony Express Record a lot with this awesome punk girlfriend I had from Sparta, NJ.  That was always interesting because it's basically homoerotic math-rock.

What else?

I LOVE that Pony Express record but don't think I'd want it in that context - too distracting with those wacky time changes.
I have some fond memories of Stereolab's Dots and Loops, Isotope 217's Unstable Molecule, and Medeski, Martin, and Wood's Shack Man.

I don't require a soundtrack.

I visited a friend who I know is like exclusively into trance and Tool (what a combo!) and he had a Sarah Maclahlan CD, which i realized was his "sex u up" music, which skeeves me out to this day.

Other fine candidates:

The Last Temptation of the Christ soundtrack

Too $hort: that song where the refrain is "My Dick!"

The Jerky Boys: any

Last Rites by Skinny Puppy

Come Poop with Me, the Triumph the Insult Comic Dog cd, or the DVD and just turn the screen off and play the "You Have To Work Blue" bit on loop. Very erotic.

Prussian Blue

The Survivor television show soundtrack

Akon - I wanna love you (Dirty Version)

Brick, by Ben Folds 5

16 Horsepower: Sackcloth and Ashes

Rush Limbaugh/ EIB Bumper Music CD (I created this myself, but am willing to burn copies. For a fair-market price.)

"Goodbye Horses" Q Lazzarus

"Casimir Pulaski Day " by Soupjam Stevenson

The Crying Game soundtrack

And the ultimate:

A hand-made Opie and Anthony CD where you've chosen all of your favorite bits.

Seeeeeeeeeexxxxxxxyyyyyyyyyyy!

That is the birth control of playlists. With that set list there is no chance in hell of you procreating.

If that's the case, then I think it should be packaged and distributed free on street corners.

Portishead is definitely a good call but I like the idea of terrible make out music.  I posted this on another board.
Pantera "Cowboys from Hell"
best of Barry Manilow
Primus - anything
Michael W. Smith
Henry Rollin spoken word

How about that Rollins piece that directs a woman giving a blow job to reach for the knife under her pillow and hack off her partner's member?  I enjoy playing that one for the local barbarians, followed by the Yeastie Girls' "You Suck."

I have a cassette of myself singing "Love is in the Air."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
