This was fantastic -- after the first few hiccups, it felt just like a full episode. Bad caller purposely trying to get Bad Company'ed (and then getting that BOMB BLAST sound effect) was the highlight. Or maybe AP Mike talking about taking a shower at the studio.

Even on a Test Show, never ever think you can get what you want when you call Tom. That's my lesson of the day.

I'm really happy with how everything sounds and feels. After some minor tweaking, the Best Show will sound at least as good as it did on WFMU -- probably better actually. I listened to a Best Show Gem, and there's always some slight hiss in the background of the WFMU era shows. This is going to be great.

I couldn't listen to the whole thing live, so I happened to set up to record what I would miss. It starts during the sound collage and there may be some moments it dropped out I didn't pick up on because I didn't get to hear it live.
