This is what's known as being late to the party, but I just now caught up with the last 20 minutes of the FourLoko party, on earbuds. A couple of thoughts:
The Best Show, as we know, is fractal. The more closely one examines, the more details there are to notice. For example, during the last chorus of "Silver Bells," attentive listeners will hear Mike singing "Silver bells / This is hell." You go, Mike! Someone out here noticed!
It occurs to me that if this experiment is ever repeated, a good drinking game cue would be: a mug shot every time someone says "Turn Mike's microphone off."
Several people noted the background chatter about Tom being "down" and so forth, but during Jim from Portland's call we can hear John Roderick saying "Scharpling is bleeding." (emphasis added.) A woman (Therese?) comments that "he bleeds for this show." Jeez! The commitment!
