Definitely not true.  I've met plenty "DJs" and quite a few of them are the biggest cry-babies.  NOT ALL.  But quite a few.

One major counterexample to back that up: TIM DOG.  It's impossible for any DJ who backs up TIM DOG to be actually tougher than TIM DOG.
