I think I like Star Wars now.

Those Star Wars posters are the epitome of why I love and loathe the internet. I love the internet for allowing artists of amazing talent the outlet to share their work with the world and hopefully drum up some business (if it wasn't lean times around here I'd definitely buy a print of all three of those). On the other hand, I loathe the internet for two reasons: 1) I have seen these posters on 95% of the blogs I read. They're everywhere and I get so many blog posts on my RSS reader of the same thing. 2) The incessant nostalgia trip. All of these frequently posted works are usually some repurposing of a cult genre movie into some new context or new art style. After a while, it just seems lazy and unproductive. I don't need to see a million variations on Star Wars posters. I want more originality heralded.
