I was browsing Amazon and saw the cover of Alex Robinson's latest book and I couldn't help myself.

I don't see why Tom shouldn't start his career as a writer by diving into his grade school days.

Which led me to do some research. I can't believe this actually exists on the planet. Gary Sinise plays bass in a cover band that tours USO shows and does "everything from Springsteen to Linkin Park to Aretha?" And it's call the Lt. Dan Band???!!! I had no clue, and am a little shaken by this, for some reason.

The show may not have 5000 Myspace friends, but it has more than the Lt. Dan Band. And that's with the combined juice of Gary Sinese and a Forrest Gump reference.
