Kid Kansas was very deft at what he did. He was so good at carrying on a normal conversation and then breaking into his schtick, he frequently caught me by surprise. I think he caught Tom, too; I seem to recall many a rueful but sincere hiccup of laughter. He also wasn't as demanding as others on the list, many of whom seem(ed) to expect to be allowed to pursue their tedious maunderings for excessive amounts of time. Instead, he would contribute on topic quite sensibly before asking how that song goes.
Kid Kansas, I salute you.
As for Petey's being on the list, well, that's simply a travesty.
