Hey Tomas,

The next thing in NY will be Hamilton Township in '09-'10 at Soho Rep.  If you want to see some truly awesome theater, the director has just directed Sarah Kane's Blasted at the same theater, and it's on right now.  One of the best things I've seen in years.

There was talk of 1001 extending its NY run last year, but it's kind of an odd duck, production-wise.  The producers have decided to keep an eye on it as it choogles around this great nation of ours and maybe re-mount it some time in the near future.  It probably won't be for a few years.

Thanks for asking!
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

Not to sound like a cheapskate, but is it free, or what?  No price mentioned on that page that I could see.

Yeah, it's free.  There will probably be some beers there for free too, or you could just bring one.  It's just like UCB Jr., except with even less space, and no public restroom.  And it's free.  And it's not technically a theater.  And no one passes out postcards at the front.  And you can't buy soda there.  It's totally different than UCB Jr.

Hey, thanks for posting this, Gilly!  PM or email if you want comp tickets.

They really want me there, but not enough to cover all of my travel.  I would like to go, but I guess at a certain point it's time to let the play choogle on without me.  The director is great, though.

hey all.

i promise not to be annoying with such posts. i'm a solo musician and i primarily play electronic compositions ranging from nico muhly-inspired minimalist pieces to panda bear-type booty shakin tunes. i work with the sp-303, if anyone is into that sort of stuff.

anyway, i'm playing at desmond's tavern on 433 park ave on november 15 at 8 PM. it's $5, and i would completely appreciate your support. i would really, really appreciate your support.

here's a lame jpeg i made at work:

also, feel free to send me a message if you or your band is playing in NYC, especially if you need a slot filled for your show. i'll return the favor, and i love to get out and see new things.

thanks for reading.

Hey kids! I'll be spinning the finest Halloween has ever given Rock and Roll this weekend! Monsters! Graves! Mad Scientists! Roky's bad acid trips!

I'll be at K&M in Williamsburg on Thursday, October 29th from 10pm to 4am. 6 hours of ghoulish madness!*

Then, on Saturday, I'll be at Legion spinning some Dio De La Muertos happy hour music from 7pm to 10pm.

Dudes, nod your heads to the grave-stomping beats! Ladies, dance around with your arms over your head like your drowninig, (as is the lady-goth custom)! I hope to see you there.

It's not a problem. I'm always on the lookout for opportunities to franchise.

i suppose i forgot to explain that someone else calls me that, i didnt take on the name voluntarily.  my suggestion is you charge them, and not me.
