Got a silly list up on McSweeney's:
http://mcsweeneys.net/links/lists/27DavidHart.html

that's great.

That IS great!  I've submitted a couple lists to McSweeney's, but they politely turned me down.  Could it have had to do with strippers being involved?  Only they know for sure.

Thanks! I spent a solid few months last year trying to get on there and finally got a list and two pieces up front, and they published one of them in a book. But man oh man, have I gotten a lot of polite rejection emails from them.

Six more and you can publish the lot in book form. Senorcorazon 1, Tom 0.

I have lots of stories that would be more appropriate for the Mike Show than the Best Show.  I've posted one in a new blog post at
http://joelhuggins.com/blog/
It's the first in my series entitled THAT'S SO HOLLYWOOD!!!
please to enjoy.

The website that Cutout and I created - the one that had its genesis on this board - is still up and running.

www.midblink.com

I was thinking of making a t-shirt for it. Anyone who has any skills and wants to improve on this idea (created with MS Paint!), please help out.  You, Cutout, and I can split the massive-Google-like profits!

Thanks!

I don't think I've promoted my podcast here in a long while, so for the newcomers: please check out my podcast! It's called The Hour of Truth, and it's all music, all the time. Beware that it doesn't match the typical Best Show/WFMU/alt profile inasmuch as there's not a whole lot of guitar riffs going on. I've just posted a new episode - The 2008 Blowout Part 1. Best of 2008, kind of. Tracks by Lindstrøm, Benga, Dam Funk, James Pants, Jazzanova, and more.

You can get feeds and direct downloads here:

Not so much an extra-curricular activity, but rather an offer to kinda facilitate others' extra-curriculars: for all y'all in bands who'd like your album info/art/sound samples made available on a popular music database website (and, depending on where else your stuff is sold, also on our clients' websites and store kiosks), message me. If you send your stuff to me at work, it'd cut out the middle-person that is the content acquisitions department and get it on the site faster.

As much as that sounds like some weird marketing bot or something, I'd be stoked to help musical FOTs get a little extra exposure.

Hiya FOTs,
For those of you with kids and in the New York area, or those of you that just wanna come and say howdy, I'm having a book signing on Saturday, April 4th, noon-2. It's at Books of Wonder, an awesome children's book store on 18th between 5th and 6th ave. It's my FIRST book, a graphic novel called Joey Fly, Private Eye, and my ladyfriend is making insect-themed cupcakes!!

Every FOT will get a FOT-related DRAWING OF THEIR CHOICE if they show up!!!

Cannot promote my podcast, because I have not updated it in 3 years.

But I have a question for you: Do you think this post to the podcast website is a joke?

"I am very enjoy this for podcasting! Please to make and continue new times. We do very enjoy in Norway and have many fans for toothychum! Sometimes for old episode in listen for at the pub grouping! Funny funny!

I know I am probably exposing my stupidity here (I am expecting someone to say "'Efskript' is a compiling language you computadummy!"), but I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks!
