They look like they should be wearing paper hats. The blue elbow pads must distinguish the manager.

Oh, man. That was very funny.

If anyone deserves a spot in the Hate Pit, it's Huckabee. As an Arkansan and a Democrat, it makes me sick to think of this man as the next President. I don't see how anyone can take him seriously. Luckily, should he get the nomination, all the shenanigans that transpired during his tenure as governor would be widely documented, and he would be run out of town, on a thin, rail-like contraption. Huckabee was adept at "shooting dirty pool", as one might say.

But "Barbershop Sweat"? You nailed it, Sploops. Huckabee sweats just goin' to the bathroom.

okay, i've seen this commercial way too many times. vincent gallo's going in. why? because i have to exist on the same planet as this douche. and i don't like it.

and  everyone in my hate pit should be forced to watch his stupid commercial on a loop. like tom, i'm welding it into the dvd player.

also laurie (i'm asking this in a polite but curious tone of voice) what exactly is making you come around to vincent gallo? I've been just growing angrier with him as time goes on.

That's the kind of commercial that's going to lead me to a life of monasticism.

Bill Maher is wearing orange and is picking up garbage with one of those sharp poles in my hate pit.

Ha.

While temping at a consulting firm, I overheard an executive talk about how he met Bill Maher at a party and almost came to blows.  Apparently Bill asked the guy what he thought of the then-current incarnation of Politically Incorrect, and the guy said, "Well, it's not a show I take too seriously; I mean, it seems like an excuse for celebrities to make wisecracks and score points with soundbites."  And Bill then supposedly wanted to throttle him.

I've watched a little of Bill Maher... The moments he makes me reach for the Hate Pit button are when he furrows his brow like a basset hound and makes his "Come on, can't you see how that line of thinking is complete and utter sh-t" face.

I saw him do a standup special on HBO recently and he was wearing a tight t-shirt with a Chinese dragon on it or something.  LIke he was trying to look "hip" or something.  This is a guy who's been wearing suits since like 1984.  all the sudden he's wearing Hot Topic shirts.

Just to add an extra layer of horror to John Junk's (true) story, the dragon on the t-shirt was smoking pot. Oh, and the show wasn't terribly good, either.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Bill Maher warped himself into a lifetime of community service in my hate pit after he spent fifteen minutes of one show literally smirking at John Mellencamp for defending the mid-west.  He then spent ten minutes making blanket statements about how stupid everyone in the mid-west is b/c those states went for Bush, as though every single person in one entire region voted for him or something.

It's like he thinks he's as smart as Gore Vidal because the guy is willing to share the stage with him, and not just some incredibly lucky D-level comic.

Have you ever looked at his http://imdb.com/name/nm0005175/ IMDB page? Aside from Politicall Incorrect the guy has been a special guest on such amazing shows as Murder She Wrote, Roseanne, and Married With Children....

The t-shirt with the dragon sounds about right, except it would be better with a giant fist-sized hole punched through it.
