I've gone on it a bunch of times to get album artwork but never really bothered with the rating music side of things, mostly because I just have way too much music and not enough time to sit down and rate everything.

I like last.fm because it's kind of automatic, though I've considered quitting a lot just because it still can be a hassle.  I could never get into the media-discovering sites that require me to manually input data.

You rate all of the albums you've listened to and you can see what your friends think of albums. It's really the best music discovery site out there... if you trust your friends judgement!
