BEST CALLER - my favorites are Laurie and Officer Tom.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR - Eddie (despite the fact that Greg looked at me with sad eyes and said he wanted this spot. I told him he wasn't quite up for that just yet.... not close)

WORST CALLER - Henry Owings -- Anyone who won't let Tom SPEAK while he's on the phone is the worst.

MOST PATHETIC CALLER - James

MOST DELUSIONAL CALLER - Venison Stew Dude

BEST GOMP - Too many to choose from. But I love it when Tom GOMP's Laurie by accident and then giggles "oh why did I hang up on Laurie?" I think it's happened a few times and I thought it was so sweet. (Just to be clear I'm not saying I don't think Laurie's a good caller. I think she's a GREAT caller.)

BEST GUEST - Seth Galifianakis

BEST BEST SHOW RECAPPER - Omar

SADDEST CALLER - Jason Nash or any of the podcasters who are doing self promotion and trying to start fake wars with tom, etc. etc.

I'm throwing another "best GOMP" nominee into the mix - Tom turning the pretentious I'm Not There fan into a ghost at the end of his rant/review on the 12/4/07 show.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Who's the guy who called from his gas station job? I can't remember his name. Has he been nominated for worst caller? He seemed like a nice enough guy but his calls were pretty bad.

Are you talking about The Leader? I kinda like his calls, but like Spike's, they are an acquired taste at best. He is to Christopher Moltisanti what Spike is to Droopy Dog.

Pete.  I think all of his calls were in 2006.

I made a little montage of Best Guest nominees, doing my best to cover everyone's nominations and suggestions.
It might be a bit longish(3:00) and not in the categories requested, so Tom, no worries at all if you don't wanna use it.  It was fun to make and could be enjoyed just in this thread.

MOST DELUSIONAL CALLER - Taco Stand Guy.  I can't remember his name, but he went on for how long?

Good one.  It was Jeff Jensen.

So is this (just kidding it's 'Laney):

So is everybody getting dressed up tonight— all Paul F. Tompkins style? I've signed up as a seat filler whenever Eddie, Laurie, Spike, Seth Galifianakis and so forth need to step out.
