I don't know what goes in a Shepherd's pie

As my Great Uncle Bill likes to say, "shepherds."
Guffaw.

Oh, they also have Guinness on tap. I understand Irish folks like that stuff.

I don't know what goes in a Shepherd's pie

Initially read that as "I don't know what goes on in a Shepard's pie".

re: Guinness. Sure. But I'm getting a belly...which negates your early comment of shaking my skinny arse down for the Big Dipper.

But I know a number of men with beer bellies and skinny asses.

Terre is talking about the Gore-Gore Girls.  There was another band of that name in the mid-90s, with Ben Weasel and Jughead from Screeching Weasel.  I think there was an eighties band called that, too.

Nice, Laurie! I wish I could've afforded to pledge more, but not this year. Still, a mouse isn't so bad.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

"The Gore Gore Girls" is actually a super trashy, violent sexploitation movie by Herschell Gordon Lewis. He is a Friend of the Family.

Is he good for at least a $50,000 pledge?

A big no on that one.

Edit: Okay, a moderate no. He is rolling in some dough from Juno and the Crispin Glover remake of Wizard of Gore. Also, I'm pretty sure he will never retire EVER. He still does freelance marketing consultation or whatevs.
