I know that's not it, but Lake Powell is one of the two or three most beautiful places I've ever seen, along with Interlaken and LAS FUCKING VEGAS.

that's lake pleasant.  most weekends it's full of rednecks, "bros", and their bikini-clad girlfriends, but we said to hell with it, brought along the reigning sound, backpacks full of sunscreen and beer, and had a great time.  also, theres a portion named, "Jackass Cove"- it is in fact full of jackasses.

Canon Powershot Pro1.  It's simple enough to use that I was able to justify having my work buy it (it's not too complicated for me to send out with my guys,) but still has a lot of adjustability.

jeepers, thanks emma.  i use a slightly older canon rebel i bought off a kid on craigslist for a cool $100.  im not anti-digital, i just prefer film.
