Love and Rockets  "Earth, Sun, Moon"

First vinyl as a gift was Best of E.L.O.  The first record I convinced my Dad to buy me was "Let It Whip" by Dazz Band. I don't recall the first cassette.

Oh hell, I screwed up. Cosmo's Factory was, of course, my first record ($3.99 at the record store that Pops Taylor ran out of the basement of Chester's department store.)

My first CDs were gifts that came with the first CD player my wife bought for me. They were Dylan's Knocked Out Loaded and Yes's 90215.

I picture you telling that story to us while we're sitting around your rocking chair. You also happen to be whittling wood.

Hey, I have my father's copy of that! Also, I'm sorry that we both bought 90125 (mine is vinyl). The show I saw from that tour (Rochester 1985) was good. The album, much less so.

I had 90125 on cassette also.

First CD:

First tape: The image didn't work, but it was Bobby Brown - Bobby.

First single: Digable Planets - "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)"

First song I downloaded: A .wav of some Tori Amos B-side.

I've been relistening to 'Dangerous' lately. 'Who Is It' - the jam. 'Jam' is also the jam.

Yeah, those are great. I just wish he'd pruned it a bit; even Thriller would have overstayed its welcome at 77 minutes.

I don't think it exists, but I once had a Michael Jackson cover of "Army of Me" stuck in my head for days.
